Göte’s funeral

In memory of Göte

In December 19, 2010, Göte passed away.
After a longer time of illness he got the calm and peace he so well had earned.
Göte, the great friend of all humans, always showed up for anyone, for family and friends, for unknowns. Many has asked for Göte when time was hard. Also in his job, as representative for RLF in Halland, his mission was to represent the ones, that maybe, not always  had the gift of speaking.

Sometimes I wounder what’s form a human. Maybe Göte was influenced of his mothers tragical dead. Have a look under “Archive – John Johansson – Sigrid’s death”.
Göte had time to spend with anyone. He loved to take his grandchildren by their hands for a walk in the forest, turn a stone and have a look at the  “forest animals”, or a walk to the  “ocean mountain” where he so unhappy “happened” to “plurra” (get his foot in the water).

Göte was a powerful man. He and Märta spent a lot of time, working for the  Scouts of Falkenberg. He was one of the important persons when  the house for the Scouts was built. He bought Tranabo for the Scouts. This is a special story. Dare I to tell?

Sofies prästvigning

Sofie, Göte’s granddougther, was authorized as priest only a few days before Göte’s funeral. She commited the funeral. This was her first commission as priest. She made this moments to a unforgettable memory together with her husband Nils who played guitar and sang. Unfortenately was this not recorded so we must be satiesfied with listening to the original artists: Michael Wiehe, “Ska nya röster sjunga” and Ulf Lundell, “Öppna landskap”.

Göte spet his last years on “Boken” in Falkenberg, on dep. 22 F, where Marita and her colleges took so wondelful care of Göte. Thanks! … Thanks!
