Sigrid och John

lived in Blixtorp.
The family was so hard hit by fate when Sigrid died in the harvest accident in 1930. You can read more about it on another page.
Memories…
Sunny, hot summer days. John, Lilly, and Mats taking a well earned rest while I laid down beside Kajsa, my grandfathers dog. Or took a walk along the fields, searching for wild strawberries. Sometimes I Went down to the big flat rock, dreaming about that Aladdin should open his port into the rock.

The parties, freezing cold winter, testing if hands would freeze stick to the milk cans. Indoors at house, the living room, heated up, the guests speaking, innocent teasing with the cousins. The excitement when looking at grandfathers weapons collection.
My grandfathers hay fan, the big threshing machine, Mats who raised hay-draying racks, made the holes in the ground with the giant iron-bar lever. Lots and lots of memories…
